Ek Ehsaas

Khushboo hain tu, kuch meethi si
Dhun hain tu, ek madhur si

Bol hain tu, ek adhuri kavita ke
Ehsaas hain tu, ek khaali bistar ka
Khamoshi hain tu, cheer ke jaati hui
Neend hain tu, door bhaagti hui

Tadap hain tu, ek lambi lagi lath ka
Dhyan hain tu, us tooti samadhi ka

Jab kareeb thi tu toh kadar kaha thi
Jab chali gayi tu toh takleef kaha thi

Door kahi choor ke us paar, yadon main dafna hoon.
Tere naye ishq ka main ek marg darshi hoon.

I am your wisdom to a fresh blossom of love)

I'll Live

I quit everything, I put my trust in you and you've lost me now

You've lost me for a simple reason, you've got the money
I gave up my independence for your dreams that remained unfulfilled

I gave up my identity for I thought I'd be nurtured by you
But you let me down, you've thrown me around

I am no slave to be beaten and bashed, no cattle to be whipped and thrashed
I may be a soft heart but I am not one who gives up

I am disappointed for you failed to fulfill your duties
I am sad for you broke me from within just because you have the money and I don't

I'll pick up my pieces and I'll walk
I'll walk with crutches but I'll walk
I'll run, may be not soon, but I'll run
I'll sprint, I may not be a winner, but to the finish line I'll sprint.

I am not giving up so easy.
I will pick up the pieces and I will build a life.

It may take a couple of years but I strive to survive.
I hit my lowest ebb around this time last year and have not yet recovered. I guess I haven't learned from my mistakes.

I'll pick up the pieces and I'll build a life. I will. A promise.

Tanhai

Tanhai bhi kuch aisi hain
Chahe jitna door use hum kare
Utna hi kareeb aa jaati hain

Rail ki patri si hain yeh tanhai
Aur tation un namb yaadon ki tarah
Yah shayad lakeer hain yeh tanhai
Koi bhi chor pakad lo kahi toh woh le hi aati hain

Yeh Lakeer shayad ek naksha hain
Naksha ek khoyi chabi ka jis se khule
Woh ek dur kahi rakhe yadoon ka sandhook
Aur rail us sandook tak paunchne ka ek zariya

Tanhai jab ood le jisse kabhi kambal ban ke
Kho jaata hain woh uske prabhav main
Aankho main se phir yeh tinka ban kar
Aansu ki tarha behne lagta hain

Tab rail bhi us lakeer pe
Us chabi ki tarha apna raasta khone lagti hain.

Love and Lost

Sometimes we let go those who kept us sane
Leaving behind a disk that's got our lives captured by the frame

Recall the past to relive those moments of intimacy and pleasure
Standing on the sidelines witnessing two souls filled with passion and desire

It pains to think of those moments that have passed
Moments that are lived only in one's dreams and thoughts

Taking away those smiles, life is a harsh reminder
Of transcendence into a circle that is nothing short of a trauma

The delicate touch you felt on the tips of your fingers
The giggle that kept you awake for nights together

This emotion of longing surpasses all feelings
Leaving behind an after taste of the worst battering

Sometimes you let go for sanity
Sometimes you hold on for vanity

Sometimes you let go your precious
Sometimes it never was all that glorious

None the less, those scars remain
On a chilly winter, to remind you of a pain

Of love and lost
Of a happiness that it cost.

That's how we smile

I don't really know how this will come out,

You know I have been thinking,
To write a poem that exudes love and no bickering.
But now I am out of a theme,
My creativity internally screams.

I haven't been able to think,
How to provide solace or comfort in a blink.
Yet I write what comes to me,
So that I make sense and is good to read.

You have made it a point to not smile,
Yet I have a weapon you can't avoid.
I knew a teacher who never had a curve on her face,
And yet I built up courage to say.

"My Lady, why are you grave at all times of the day,
Don't you know life can be fun when we enact a part of a play.
In 3 simple steps I will teach you how,
Just repeat the words EEEE when I finish the countdown"

Now I shall begin the count,
1 - 2-3 - EEEE- and you shout.
That's how she smiled and it has spread,
Try it now and the grim atmosphere shall shed.

I haven't proof read it. :D
