Letting them go!!!

Just when we get used to something, it leaves
Just when you think you’ve got it sorted, the red light starts to beep
When we are on the path we desired
We are happiest and most excited
But this path comes after a long tread
A tread you didn’t want and which made you fret.

From the bottom we've waited to make the leap
A hand's stretched to pull you out of the deep
It’s on this long walk you are attentive than ever
Here you learn that experience leaves you never.

Walk on! For the road beckons
Regaling you with stories of a million seconds

Yet there are a few that you’d like to trace
After having hit your bros on their pretty faces
Some you want for yourself packaged in handbags
While some you want to hold on to just by saying “Look Tankbund!”

Walk on! For the road beckons
On a path that leads you right to your destination
Waving and sobbing we all stand here,

Teary eyes, for even Thalaiva will miss you, “Oh! Aradhya, my dear!”

That's how we smile

I don't really know how this will come out,

You know I have been thinking,
To write a poem that exudes love and no bickering.
But now I am out of a theme,
My creativity internally screams.

I haven't been able to think,
How to provide solace or comfort in a blink.
Yet I write what comes to me,
So that I make sense and is good to read.

You have made it a point to not smile,
Yet I have a weapon you can't avoid.
I knew a teacher who never had a curve on her face,
And yet I built up courage to say.

"My Lady, why are you grave at all times of the day,
Don't you know life can be fun when we enact a part of a play.
In 3 simple steps I will teach you how,
Just repeat the words EEEE when I finish the countdown"

Now I shall begin the count,
1 - 2-3 - EEEE- and you shout.
That's how she smiled and it has spread,
Try it now and the grim atmosphere shall shed.

I haven't proof read it. :D

Sting like a bee

A force that pulls me down
Is not a force but gravity playing around

A man that makes me cry
Needs a whack to set him right

For the world conspires to bring us down
Even when we tread the purest of the grounds

Shall I be worried about things that are ominous
Or be be obstinate about a subject of my faith

Shall I be a victim of ostentatious character
Or be impudent enough to break free of the restraint

For the world conspires to bring us down
Even when we tread the purest of the grounds

Yielding was never an option or a choice
Would embrace death with my head held high.

I am what I choose to be
Neither you nor he can let me be

If for you I've floated like a butterfly
Then for myself, I will sting like a bee.

She

She got out the bed stark naked
Her body as if carefully sculpted

It was dusk when we began
Passion and Agression was the theme of this season

We carried on until it just got slow

Love my dear, is more than just sex
And you never know what's next.

Dua

Khata toh ki humne
Par bewafa hum nahi the
Gila gar hain humse
Toh taqleef tum khud ko na do
Hain mohabbat aaj bhi tumse
Nibhaane ki himmat nahi hum me
Dua bas hain khuda se
Kushi mile tumhe jee bharke

Nirbhaya

This poem, I have taken inspiration from a few events of Mahabharata.

Ilzaam laga hain tumpe, ki tum ne usse uksaya,
Netao ke bhashan sunke kyun phir krodith hoye?
Keh diya toh kya hua, amal toh kuch na kare.
Janta toh katputli hain yeh, khel dekh dekh sooye.
Suno Nirbhaya shashtr uthao, yeh ab kuch na kar paaye.

Dharna nikla, hartaale hui humne baat toh apni rakhi,
Moombatti ki mashaal hain hum, isse bhujne na de kabhi.
Par,
Waqt aaya jab tum aankh moond ke kyun phir chal diye?
Kya hua us raat ka jab jab un sab ke rakhsa ki tum baat kiye?
Suno Nirbhaya shashtr uthao, yeh ab kuch na kar paaye.

Baaton main hi reh gaye, josh sirf chand ghanto ka tha,
Par the jabaaz kahi jo aage aaye, aur sashan ki jaal main phase,
Nikalna chahe bhi toh na sake, jaal main jo ulajh te gaye,
Suno Nirbhaya shashr uthao, kyunki govind bhi sirf kahaniyon main the aaye.

Last Words

We all can speak lengths about How,Why,What or When but there are occasions when silence dawns upon us And we speak a lot more without uttering a word.

This is what happened today, I held his hand like I did when we crossed the road, when we walked and kissed, when I got scared or when I was fragile and like always he was firm and today when I was breaking he gave me strength.

He looks at me and says, "I'll wait for you honey!"
This melodic silence was interrupt by a beep which made the doctors queasy and began a mad rush to bring him back.

50 years with this man, I knew he would wait for me but today he just had to leave- Leave here to meet me again.
