A Land Called Hope

Forgotten alleyways, crumbling homes.

A decadent state of a land called hope.

Multitude of univervses inside those dreams

Locked away, to visit no more. 

The alley decorated with the shinest brocade

A valley of flowers covering the archway.

Fragnace of the sweetest flowers

Memories of a distant past, now cometh. 

Go beyond, to them barren lands 

Pain and suffering welcoming back.

Of broken promises and hurling abuses

Cowardice and helplessness re-awakens

Tears swell up and raring to go

A place so desolate, melancholy galore.

Leave at once, it's a nightmare now

Once a happy dream, now no more!

Tere Aane

Yeh khusboo toh kuch pehchaani si hai

Kya yeh dastak tere aane ki hai?

Teri raah dekhta kuch dewaangi si hai

Tujhe jee bhar dekh lu, ek aas kuch aisi bhi hai!

Left Behind

These remnants of a time 

Time that just flew by 

These fossils that don't die

Death of a life left behind 

Stored away in the safest space

Space that's supposed to be erased

Stored for you to stumble upon

A trip to the land of a forgotten face

These remnants of a time 

A cruel reminder of life 

Of broken promises and of strife 

Bringing back, a you, purposefully left behind.

I am not as perfect as you perceive me to be

Kahi cheeze aisi hoti hai jo hum apne hisaab se ho chahte hai

Kahi cheeze aise bhi hoti hai jo hume bhaati nahi hai.

I am as flawed as they come

I may be as complex as they come 

Par tere liye main humesha hoo 

Tere liye main sab kuch ek kar du. 

Bas sirf tere liye main hoon.

Humne kabhi poochna seekha nahi 

Aur unhe mana karna aata nahi

Aur unhone hume humesha taal diya 

Ab phir kalam ke peeche chupne chale hai 

Unhe ab shabdo se pooch ke rahnge 

Cheesecake ka toh pata nahi hai kuch 

Par sabse best waala doondke rahenge.

Raat gayi jo baat gayi
Raakh bana ke dil ko mere, tu chale gayi

Har naam hum ko tu bol gayi
Har kaam hum pe tu chod gayi

Aadat

Yaha dil ab tak dhadka nahi hai
Yaha dooriyan ab tak mehsoos nahi ki hai

Jab saanse tham jaati hai
Toh bas tera chera hi nazar aata hai

Isse ishq kahu ya kahu tadap
Tujhe chahne lage hai ya bas teri ik aadat si ho gayi hai?
