Mining thy gem

A man in solitary confinement
Loses the real sense of the world
Builds a mirage around himself
Always at a loss of words
Supercilious and imprudent he becomes
Unscrupulous and inert at everyone he scorns
Failing to mine the lost gem
An erudite turns into a subject of disdain
A failure at a particular juncture
Leads to an ebb of continued despair
Leading a man into a slumber
A Decadent state will soon follow
Introspection is what gets one out
To cruise through the most difficult tide
One wrong choice thrusts him into a quagmire
And the right one into a state of eternal nirvana.
